Michael Bayle

Michael Bayle has spent over three decades helping digital organisations launch and scale new ventures. Michael is currently an avid investor in the vices ((soon to-be) Michelin star restaurants, whiskey and mezcal distilleries) as well as high-tech, especially in AI. 

Most recently prior to retiring Dec 2023, Michael was the Chief Marketing Officer of Travel Distribution at the Amadeus IT Group. In this role, Michael oversaw the marketing strategy and execution globally for all solutions related to travel information technology, airlines content distribution, car rental, cruise, hotel, rail, and travel protection distribution servicing more than 100,000 travel seller touchpoints globally.

Prior to joining Amadeus, Michael held senior executive positions with several leading media companies and start-ups. At ESPN, Michael served as Senior Vice-President and General Manager of Mobile where he managed all aspects of advertising, content and development for an audience base of over 50 million users, where time spent consuming media via mobile began overtaking desktop and even television audiences.

Michael is a world traveller and holds several degrees from Stanford University include a bachelor’s degree in Japanese, BS and MS in Computer Science.  He lives in Madrid, Spain and in his spare time enjoys jazz clubs, scuba diving, padel and supporting Atletico Madrid.
